Before and after

Here I show some of my edited photos with Gimp. I will describe what I did in which image.

In this picture I used some tools to make this woman feels like she's younger.

Here I desaturate the image and I left some fruits with colour to 'cheer up' the image.

In this image I changed the background, selecting the building, cutting it and pasting in a new background.

In this 4 images I just fixed some settings with brightness and contrast.

Here I did the same that I did with the first image.

This are 2 gifs that I made with different layers.

This is the same example than the image of the fruits.

In this image I fixed some stains in the photo.

In the first image I made a 'draw' of Fernando Alonso with some tools of Gimp. In the second one I made a mounting of a girl with butterfly wings.

This is the same example than the image of the baby.

Finally, I fixed this photo erasing the petal of the flower in the mouth of the woman.

The other day in informatic class I made one gif. That was funny. My gif is about an email. 

A little bit of culture!

Today I'm gonna talk about Romanticism. Romanticism was a cultural and political movement which began in Germany and United Kingdom in the XVIII century. It started like a revolutionary reaction against Enlightenment and Classicism. The topics used in Romanticism were love, nature and life. One of the main poets of Romanticism in England was John Keats. He wrote long narrative poems, but his fame was due to his short poems. He also wrote odes and sonnets about the expression of beauty. Here I leave one of his odes, called Ode on a Grecian Urn.

Thou still unravish’d bride of quietness,

Thou foster-child of silence and slow time, 

Sylvan historian, who canst thus express 

A flowery tale more sweetly than our rhyme: 

What leaf-fring’d legend haunts about thy shape
